Chef Budi Lee kickstarted his career by studying at Sunrice Global Chef Academy Singapore. After graduating, he worked with several top restaurants in Singapore and Bali, including Brussels Sprouts (by Chef Emmanuel Stroobant), and Mozaic (with Chef Chris Salans).

In 2010 he moved to Jakarta to establish a hip restaurant with his partners, called Munchies Bistro, which opened the second branch called Munchies Dine & Bar in 2012. Budi was selected as one of the five competitors for Pantry Magic’s 2nd Young Chef Award in 2012.
