Before being known as trainer and writer in the world of tea, Ratna first loved to bake, and she took Diploma of French Pattiserie from Le Cordon Bleu, Sydney. Afterward, she developed an avid interest in tea, and has completed various courses with seasoned tea masters in many countries. She is a certified Tea Specialist from World Tea Academy USA.
Her tea books (Kisah dan Khasiat Teh & The Story in A Cup of Tea) are the first books in Indonesia to cover tea consumption in the context of modern and contemporary lifestyle. Her third book, Iced Tea Book, covers various ways to make creative tea drinks. She loves to combine tea and pastry to create creative new tea infused desserts. She is now working on her 4th book about Desserts with Tea.
